Eileen Sheehan Obituary, Death Cause – It has been confirmed that the victim of a deadly skiing accident in Aspen was a University of Michigan student. At an Aspen ski resort on Saturday, a skier met a tragic end when she collided with a tree. The event took place within the resort. A statement from the Aspen Skiing Company states that just before 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, a 22-year-old woman was involved in an accident with a tree on the Exhibition run at Aspen Highlands.
As soon as the statement was made public, Ski Patrol addressed the problem. When doctors saw that she was unconscious and unresponsive, they moved quickly to make the required procedures that would ultimately save her life. It was announced just after noon that the woman had died. An unofficial identification has led to a positive identification of the deceased woman as Eileen Sheehan.
